Has anyone here used quidco before purchasing their Alienware?
They give you 10% cashback but I was wondering how it works.. like how their website knows I've actually purchased a system.
In the UK there are no other deals anywhere that I can find so this is my only hope.. I've tried asking in DELL chat for some discount but they won't do it.

Dont ask in chat - call sales directly.

    Also, please see this thread:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware/456885-aw-dell-ordering-advice-how-save.html

    specifically,

Take the quote and when you call back, have the rep (doesn't have to be the same rep) access the quote using the quote #. This is when you start to 'haggle' the price down.

Have fun and enjoy whatever system you end up choosing! :)

    Hi,

I use quidco all the time. It works by tracking cookies. the only thing i would do before going through to quidco is to clear your temp internet files and cookies before using quidco link through to dell. Iv have used this alot of times.

When i bought mine i found a link via google that gave me a free upgrade on the Graphics card to a 260 1gb and also gave me free bluetooth and i think a upgraded to the higher CPU 720..

i managed to bodge this link with the Employees discount program so i managed to get that added on as well

i also got quidco somehow even though i wasnt ment to ..

I ended up getting around £400 off.. lol !

    Heres my original Post ..

People didnt seem to like it though ! ( Btw if you still use my link you get £280 off + the Employee discount at 5%)

which model are you looking for?

I used quidco to get my m11x, and got close to the 10% a couple of months ago.

There are deals out there, try through google and be prepared to hit a few dead ends.

I'm going to use quidco (10% cashback) and then go for this:

    link

    +1080p screen, bluray, 9cell

Total £1419 and then £141 cashback.
