The M17 Comes with 1066Mhz So-DIMM DDR3 memory. Can I get upgraded OCZ memory that is SO-DIMM DDR3 with same amount of pins and same size 2 x 2GB the only difference is the speed which is 1333Mhz vs 1066Mhz

    Yes, it will work,

however, it will still be operating at 1066Mhz.

Also, the memory you're looking at has a cas latency of 9 which is higher than the 7 and sometimes 8 of the 1066 ram.

Hi laststop311, the M17 supports up to 1066 Mhz, you are able to upgrade meeting the specifications for your M17.

You may also want to contact AW support for upgrade options online via My Hive or by telephone at 1-866-287-6727, option 3, then 1 (USA) or http://support.alienware.co.uk/Support_Pages/contact_support.aspx (International).

    Have a nice day!
