    Hey Guys -

I have batboys drivers installed...but wanted to ask if the 190.62 drivers are stable and safe...since batboys are 186.?? (i beieve), would upgrading to the 190.62 drivers be better?

I suppose the 190.62 dont support hybrid graphics?

    thanks

try it and let us know. compare some benchmarks before and after. the worst thing that can happen is it doesn't work as good and just revert back.

I downloaded the 190.62 yesterday, most of the newer drivers support hybrid sli, and so do these. I was worried about temps at first bc one of my 9800m's wasn't downclocking like it was supposed to--it is now after a reboot from powersaver mode. I use this method to mod desktop drivers. Of course you will have different manufacturer and device info to copy and paste into setup notepad.

I've been trying to get this version to work on my M17x w/ 2x 260Ms and I'm not having any sucess. Even after modifiing the INF I'm left with a black screen with only the mouse cursor.

I had to revert back to the 186 line for now

If your with the 1.3 version the bugs are mostly removed! Using the stock drivers is in my opinion the first thing you should try. I had no problems with them.
The only thing I'm experiencing is that Empire Total War is only using 1 GPU. Any others experiencing the same thing? (This is with the stock drivers).
I have never used the 190.62 drivers though.

You can use the 190.62 but you'll have to disable the mGPU. It does not support the M17x's HybridSLI setup. None of the drivers do except the ones Dell has posted and the 186.42 from Microsoft.

I am currently working on a fix for the 'blank screen' issue and hope to have some good news soon. Hacking the hell out of the INF is a pain... ;)

Don't forget, you can also use the 186.42 which was posted to Windows Update recently. grab the file over @ LV2Go and once you extract the contents, unzip the 'Additional INFs' folder and copy the nv_whql.inf file to the top level of the driver directory - you will be prompted to overwrite, ok it. Once done, run the installer.

I somehow got Hybrid SLI to work with the 190.62 from the Nvidion boards, but I also got a black screen (except mouse cursor) after windows loaded for the first time.
Here is what I did to get it working (Windows 7 RC x64):
Not sure what made the difference. It might just have been enabling the Lx power saving modes, but it could really be anything I did in this sequence that got it working. Perhaps this'll help BatBoy to figure out what's causing the black screen, maybe not.

I did go back to 186.42, however, as the 190.xx drivers are still very buggy (custom application profiles don't take or only take partially, some games don't work or have artifacts, etc..). So 186.xx is still your safest bet, no matter what.

Is there someone who can activate the stereoscopic 3D from the driver ?

When i try to activate it for Nvidia Vision discover it say there's an error during the config wizard.

Wouldn't you need a 120Hz screen for that to work?

You may want to stay away from the 3D Vision driver for the time being. There is a nasty memory leak with it. Wait for the updated version.

    @Gizmo:
Thanks for the info - I'll see what I can come up with. I haven't had time to muck with the INF today and want to try your process out.
