hi metalviperx and welcome to the forum.
just to give you a rough idea im on phase 5 and ive been there 22 days.
you will not move out of phase 1 until it has been varified if you are the card holder to protect both partys from fraud.

    4/8 - I placed my order - Phase 1
4/9 - Got an e-mail regarding CC registration
    4/10 - Moved to Phase 4
4/11 - Got an e-mail, that my laptop is in production - Phase 5
4/15 - When I looked up the status this afternoon it was in Phase 8. This evening I checked again and I was back to Phase 5...

This is not the first time I wait for a laptop, but this status system is the most annoying. Dell sent me an e-mail with a date, Apple did the same, even Sony managed to give out a date... But the alienware phase-game is getting on my nerves. What's the point in it?

if you get yours in the next 2 weeks then you are receiving a canceled order.

    40 days and counting.

    4/16 - Phase 9 - Laptop sent!

I purchased laptops at Sony, Apple, Dell, Siemens-Fujitsu and Toshiba. To my surprise and against all the topics I read in this forum: Alienware was faster in termins of delivery than all the other manifacturers.

Did you get the fast delivery or the standard one? I'm in Geneva and mine took 7 full days to arrive with standard delivery (Shipped Monday arrived next Monday in the evening).

When I ordered my laptop, I chose the fast delivery. I thought that maybe the orders with the faster delivery are given a higher priority.

I'm in Phase since the 4/4 ... and the screen is still out of stock ... I thought the laptop will first go in production when all parts are available?

Thats what I was thinking too, all the more was I surprised to see it get to Phase 5 and 7 with some of my parts still being out of stock! And then it suddenly got stuck at 7, which I cosidered as a quick phase that shouldn't take longer than a day or two... Well phase game is garbage, thats my conclusion now :)
