    Hi everyone,
    I noticed that during my long hours of diagnosing my lemon of a computer, Alienware kept asking if I had upgraded the bios. As far as I know, there aren't any bios downloads on their site. I was wondering if anyone knew where they were.
    My guess is that they're somewhere on some barebones site.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

    I went to "My Hive" and I do see a new BIOs for XP, 0F04. It seems to be only one fix in the version:

    * Fixes the FN+F3 video output functionality for the NVIDIA® GeForce® 8700M GT
    * Supports Windows XP ONLY

    I haven't checked the Hive in a month, so I'm not sure how old it is. I just remember, that there was only 2 BIOs last time I checked, 1xVista, 1xXP.

    EDIT: BTW to get to it. Sign into your Hive and click on the link for your system, then the link for the LCD screen. Mine says "AREA-51M 9750 17" WUXGA W/ CAM BLACK REV.1"

    Yeah thats the newest one for Windows XP. There is another for Vista that is the OC03, but it doesn't say when it was released.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the speedy replies. I was wondering what the hive was really for. I'm going to go sign up.

    Thanks,
    Gabe
