    Are these drivers for the Area51-m17x or for the new M17x from Dell?

    When i look at the drivers for the new M17x on the Dell website i see chipset drivers for the Nvidia MCP79/A chipset.

    This Vista 64-bit MCP7A nForce driver package consists of the following components:

    Ethernet Driver (v67.86.2) WHQL
    SataIDE Driver (v10.3.0.42) WHQL
    RAID Driver (v10.3.0.42) WHQL
    RAIDTOOL (v10.3.0.42)
    SMBus (v4.69) WHQL
    SMU (v1.66) WHQL
    Installer (v6.69)

    So the new M17x is built on a Nvidia platform? And not Intel?

    I don't think you really answered his question. Your answer doesn't distinguish between the area-51 m17x and the dell m17x. he asked which one its for and you said "m17x." very ambiguous.

    Could you or anyone could give us a download list for Windows 7 64 bit for Area 51 m17x?

    There are a lot of people could not access the MyHive but installed Windows 7, and we are using the vista drivers (chipset, Audio, Bluetoot, Camera) on Windows 7. :(

    still no one care about Area-51 m17x drivers?

    This thread is the only thread talked about Area-51 m17x in the forum, or there are other threads about m17x but I havent found?

    I installed windows 7, everything is OK, but touchpad cant be disabled because of Driver. It really bother me when I try to type.

    (Keyboard has no light, but I dont care)

    I bought this one from PCworld so that I don't have my Hive, I tried 5 months to find a Area 51 m17x driver thread, and this one is the only thread, but I think I am not the only one who experience those problems. :(

    Is there anyone could help please, thx a lot.
