@Mr. Fox
So I contacted Dell today telling them that my replacement mouse (which is the one I am talking about in this thread) is what's causing this issue. They are sending me another replacement soon, no questions asked again. seems like the last mouse had Corona virus![]()

Still have it on 15r2. I had this issue with AW TactX mouse aka g9x logitech on right USB port and external HDD on left port and it would disconnect suddenly or say USB power delivery failed or device not recognized or it has failed!
I couldn't replicate this issue since it was intermittent.ole!!! and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

3rd replacement mouse just arrived! Let's see if this works without typing numbers. -

So, what's the verdict? Defective mice, or defective/buggy laptop and/or firmware?
Did you test the first two mice to see if they caused similar problems on different computers? -

It was the mouse bro as I've been using the replacement for days without any problems. One thing I am not going to do is I won't update the firmware like I did before through the Command center, don't need no more surprises and no I didn't test those other 2 mice on another computer as I don't have on. My wife's Dell Vostro 5470 needs a keyboard replacement after my daughter spilled water on it. -
Well, glad to hear that the third one is working OK. So, Command Center updated the mouse firmware on the first two mice?Papusan likes this.

I fix it for you.
Damn nice. Own products struggle work with each other. Razar products is bad but this is even a bigger mess.
If I remember correctly, your AW headset was messy too. This should be a lesson learned for long time. Clean up your hardware sig

@Papusan Well well... I've been having the infamous trigger clicking problem with my Logitech g502 hero, I literally got given another one, help me
It's not that it's a bad mouse I wish I could solder new switches into it, feels amazing and that scroll wheel is the best I've used so far. I just hope it doesn't end up with the same problem...
At least the steel series apex pro and the corsair wireless headset are going strong, although I'm not a fan of 'wearing' RGB lol, maybe I'm getting too old for this crap! -

But why would swap to another mouse brand make it work as it should?
