    Hi there,

for the CF or SLI cable, is it integrated with video card or it is sticking to the main-board? I mean does the MXM video card board come with the CF or SLI connector?

    Thanks a lot

the mxm card will have the connector on it - most of the time, some cards are not crossfire enabled

the cable is between the mxm cards and independent of the motherboard

you can replace the word crossfire with SLI for nvidia cards, they have the same system layout

Right I'm about to post my gtx 260m on eBay and I want to know if this is a mxm 3 type b or type a card. Pretty sure it's type b but I need confirmation.

download latest gpu-z or amd clock tools, those should provide you with temps.

One more question, at idle my gpu runs at about 49 degrees celcius, but within a minute of opening sims 3 and not actually playing it my temps hit 70 degrees celcius and seems to hover there, is that normal will my gpu overheat if I start playing more gpu intensive games like Modern Warfare 2?

Just did the upgrade and the temp is throught the roof at idle!!! On the desktop the gpu is at 72C!!!! I have applied the thermal paste thinly and applied thermal pads to all required areas except for 2 small black chips on the gpu that require 10mm thermal pads. Any ideas?

    Thanks

What temps do you guys get, idle mine is 55C and max gaming is 85C. Also do you have catalyst control centre working? The only way I could even get the drivers working was with a device manager direct install. This is on a m15x btw.
