All else is perfect, but my sound is choppy. Streams clean for a while, but every ten seconds or so, it just catches and glitches, then continues. With or without speakers plugged in, both with the original driver and the version 6.1 driver.

You will just have to wait until another driver update is released for Win7. Not trying to be an azzhat here, but its W7 bro. Its not even retail yet. Hang in there - I know it sux. Its the reason why I dropped it from my XPS M1730 - the audio driver was toast and the default W7 Microsoft HD Audio driver was screwing up my mic array.

    :(

The only thing I can think of is to be sure to check the audio control panel or device manager entry for the IDT chip and make sure power savings is not active.

Delayed fix, but thats still a good answer. I know what to expect now.
    Thank you.

I'm usually muted and doing something in photoshop, 3DS 2010, nVidia Melody, etc. So I can wait a little.
