I can't find a way to make the sound go through the HDMI Link I have. Right now, I have HDMI linked to my HDTV, but when I go into audio to tell it to send sound also in the HDMI link, it says I don't have an HDMI cable plugged in. I tried in the Windows Audio setups, and in the IDT Audio configuration. Both says there is no HDMI connected, even if right now, I use my HDTV for video...

    Anyone experienced this too ?

I will hopefully be getting my system by the end of this week and have my tv/receiver ready to go with HDMI, so I can test it then. Unfortunately, don't have my system just yet

I was enjoying movies with sound via HDMI last night.

When I plugged in the HDMI cable , it automatically switch the sound ouput to HDMI. I didn't have to make a selection. It was automatic.
