    Auto Screen Dimming in Windows 7 on m15x

    Can anyone using an m15x confirm whether the Windows 7 automatic screen dimming feature is enabled? I just installed Windows 7 x64 on it, but the options don't appear, although an option does appear in Command Center, but it doesn't seem to be working. The options should appear under Control Panel->Power Options->Change Plan Settings.


    The screenshot was from a more recent HP 8530p laptop that does have the feature enabled. The two options I've highlighted don't appear on the m15x. Has anyone seen these options on an m15x?

    I asume you mean when you remove power??
    Ive have w7 pro installed for about a week so am still looking round.

    your example link is bad.. i cant find the setting.

    This is a new Windows 7 feature that dims the screen after 5 minutes or so before the screen saver kicks in or the screen turns off for power saving. I edited the original post and the screenshot should be fixed now.
