Hi bros.
I just bought a new Avermedia TV Turner M102-B card and installed well.
Also, I installed AVerTV 303P v5.2.0.21a software.
Everything seems worked.
But I can not get any signal.
As I know that, it seems all channel in USA now is Digital.
I don't know much about this.
Now I am in Syracuse, New York.
Do you bros know how to get TV programs in my laptop works - M7700? Which cable do i need more?
Thank you so much
-
-
do you have the antenna hooked up ?
-
yeah, i hooked up with antena in motherboard.
M7700 has a spare cable for that TV Turner card and I hooked up it well.
now the programs show the sound of no signal, no channel.
BUT, do you mean that the Outdoor antenna that i need to get the signal from the sky?
I don't know why, but it seems that i need something else to get it works.
pls show me how.
thanks so much -
Hes referring to connecting an antenna to the external antenna jack on your lappy which feeds the tv tuner card. You have to connect an antenna to the laptop to get a signal. Its the coaxial connection on the back of the laptop next to the power connection.

I hope you realize that all US television has switched over to digital now.
so that means you have to have a ATSC tuner.
that TV Tuner you have does not have ATSC support .... its the old analog one.
So either you buy a new TV Tuner that's ATSC (probably going to be USB) or you have to connect a Cable TV line into your tuner. -
lmao lmao lmao good catch Gophn i totally forgot
man i feel stupid -
Heh, nice catch, I didn't bother looking up the tuner itself. Could you plug it in through a Digital/Analog Converter?
-
thanks bros much.
now everything is ok for me.
i hooked up with cable in my room. it worked well although the quality is a bit less than the TV some times, but it is really good.
also, I hooked up with the external antenna from my DVD player in my car, it also worked well, the quality is about 95/100 vs. cable.
thank you again
