    Yeah! I can tell... by looking at your avatar...

    My friends blame me for playing games at age of 25. I mean... WT#? It's not that you don't play games because you are old. It's you old because you don't play games. I am right, ain't I?

    i assume you live in America.

    We don't work the same way as you guys do in America. Or any western states. I think.

    In asia, we are supported by our parents till we hit working age (read: 21) and if we move out or try to support ourselves before that we will be met with incredulous stares.

    Unlike in America, it is NOT COOL for us to not support our parents when we grow old, and also NOT COOL to move out before marriage.

    So there you have it, how I got my money, and a little lesson on asian cultures.

    Oh I see.. Yeah it must be a whole other thing.. Actually I'm from Canada, in Quebec more precisely. I know some people here have no choice to do as you said, but I was lucky enough to live in a smart family, so money is not a huge concern for us all, and since I work, I can do whatever I want with my money... I had the choice to buy a car or a computer, The Alienware stole my heart :)

    @soccer
    yeah i'm in similar situation. Im going out of country in a year for college, so no point in me buying a car for a year when i have friends to mooch off...and my mom :D.
    My laptop is kinda a birthday present in way. I was supposed to order an r1 back in august(end of working and bday so i buy myself something nice. Year before i built a desktop), but i decided to wait for the m15x, got a concussion from sports, couldnt use electronics, and 3 months later my dad finally breaks and allows me to order! If he ever complains, im stealing his Nikons. ;)

    OK so I was a little ahead of myself saying 15 year olds can't afford M15x/17x's They can. I guess my point was that they are crazy expensive. When I was 15 if I had $3,000 I would have thought I was rich. Now being older with a well paying job, I see reality a little clearer. Still hate paying that much for a computer. Props to those who have the discipline (unlike 15yo me :p ) to save for it. I spent all my money on cars rebuilding engines, replacing clutches, and anything else I damaged. lol
