    How does AVIVO work?
Let say I have a backup copy of a movie in AVI, and now I want to burn to DVD.

I now use ATI's AVC to convert it, but it seems only the CPU is working.

And the result is all green video.

Update: it doesn't work on our GPUs. is ATI thinking?

    are both cards at 0%?

maybe GPU-Z isn't designed to pick up the type of load that Avivo puts on it... (i presume Avivo is to ATI what CUDA is to nVidia)...

Edit: could have something to do with the fact that you have HD 3870s... and this, pulled from here :

    Both cards at 0.
ATI doesn't support 3xxx series in AVC, lol. What an idiot.
Anandtech just confirmed now that even 4xxx series didn't do sheeet in AVC, and the output is not even usable, just like in my case. ALL GREEEEEEEEEEEEEN, no video.

Fail attempt to provide a feature. What were they thinking when they release this feature? Did you even test it? ?
