Can anyone explain to me what is Alienware's update policy.Do we need to pay extra for it?Can we update anything using this policy like: Motherboard(montevina),CPU,Graphics card e.t.c and does this policy extend to the notebook sector? Do I need to send it back to them and how much can it cost on average?

when you say update policy do you mean drivers & bios updates etc. if so no and yes,no you dont have to pay extra as its all included and yes you can update to your hearts content.
once you receive your system you will get an account number that lets you access to "my hive" for free and you can download all the drivers and updates for desktops and laptops.

I think he is more curious about harware. For example, if you buy an m15x now and then they make a fix and release a new keyboard for it or something in a few weeks, can u send back your m15x and have them put the new updated keyboard on it?

You can replace the RAM and hard drive without voiding your warranty.

Alienware isn't going to be adopting the Montevina platform anytime soon.

I think chaz is right there. I doubt we will see Montevina as soon as it's released. AW will take a while to adopt this next step up.
