The saga continues with my bios update ... FML I never had problems with bios updates for all my PC life ... that's since Pentium 133mzh !!!

Anyways, I updated A03 on my m17x and now each time I reboot for the first time it just jams after BIOS Screen, I get the top left white cursor blinking and it just jam there ... when I touch the power button it automatically turns off (No need to hold if for a fiew seconds) ... turn it on again and it boots properly ...

    is that ?!?!?!

    Thanks

    Masterfred,

You might want to try reflashing the A03 BIOS... I remember a forum member having a similar issue when A02 was released and it corrected the problem.

Mine has always done this following a reinstall...

If I go into the boot order, select hard drive and then aarow down to NVSTRIPE and hit enter to select it and then save the settings the issue goes away immediately and doesn't return.

My guess is that there is a BIOS glitch the messes with detection of the array. Hopefully this will help.
