I just finished over 6 hours and still more than an hour left to last...
...while I hate looking at the battery status every now & then and do the calculation how long it lasted...

I created a small console utility that can keep monitoring the status of your batteries and also log them into file.

    Here is the screenshot

If you want you can download this tiny 7kb utility HERE

All the data is also logged in BatteryInfo.log file. Just fully charge your batteries and keep it running. It will keep track of battery every 10minutes.

Thanks Vikas, I know what you mean. You can try getting Vista Gadget that shows battery power.

I already have those tiny gadgets and they work good. But they do not log the data anywhere. And after logging the data I actually noticed how Vista just estimate the time remaining. I had 30% and 1.15hrs remaining. But even after 30 minutes.. it turned out 20% and 1hr remaining.

Ah! Thank you findvikas! This will be a very useful utility!

I've been trying to look for a utility like this for quite awhile.
