It's interesting that there wasn't a peep from anyone after your first post. I don't own BF4 so I cannot do anything except say thank you for sharing.

Clean installing your GPU driver may have helped BF4 work better, but it won't do anything about DX not installing properly with the game. And, it will not do anything to remedy CPU core parking.

Has anyone noticed some bad stuttering on the more recent drivers...turning down settings does not seem to help at all. Wondering if it is the newer nvidia drivers or probably just something dice broke

I get random micro freezing where it drops into the 40s then goes back up to 60...this happens regardless of whether the GPU has been over clocked or not.

Hmm good to know it isn't just me or my hardware then :p . makes me feel a little better any ways. I rolled back to 334.89 and it seems to help a bit, so maybe the newer drivers are partly to blame. I also unparked all the cores as Mr.Fox suggested although I never needed to before. Seems to hold a little more stable now any ways, it isn't quite so damn irritating.

Hopefully Dice or Nvidia or whoever is responsible gets around to fixing this at some point, it is highly irritating to say the least.

It's very sporadic for me though as I can play some games without seeing it and some games it happens at least once.

I even seen it happen in Max Payne 3 so it may be a driver issue with the 337.50 betas. I'm not overly concerned but just annoyed.

I can play it with Ultra everything at 1080 just fine. There seems to be some slow downs lately but I don't think it has anything to do with the card. It chops a bit when large events like the sky scrapper comes down but TBH it does the same thing on my dekstop with a 280x so again, I don't think it is the GPU, it is bad coding and or drivers.

When I first started playing BF4 it ran pretty flawlessly and there were no dips that I could see if I didn't have the FPS meter on.

I should also note that I only play 64 player multiplayer maps, the single player campaign say considerably higher in FPS and I never noticed any problems.

This is a standard BF4 feature that functions the same on all systems regardless of specs... and, DICE was very generous because there is no extra charge for unlocking that random pause feature. ;)

I'm busy at work for the past couple month and just starting playing this game again just yesterday....

It's my eyes which deceive me or this game is just become worse and worse ?

Glitch everywhere, even in the original map, dead body slide everywhere....My Stinger just spinning around like crazy instead of hit my target, etc

    more DLC, more Problem....

Unfortunately Dice does not seem all that interested in fixing the glitches.....the netcode is the one that gets me. The amount of times I go running behind a wall only to get head shot is mind boggling. There are a TON of bugs and honestly I think this game is a write off in terms of ever being fixed and I think Dice knows it. Don't get me wrong, it is fun to play and I will continue to do so but in terms of hoping for Dice to come along and fix all the broken buggy crap I think were dreaming at this point. It should be interesting to see what happens with the next battlefield game when consumer trust is out the window.

Yeah, that kind of crap is real common. That's just one of several reasons I have no interest in online multi-player gaming. Some of that can be blamed on hacks and cheats.

Installed the new Nvidia drivers, and actually went back to the stock vBIOS due to other issues and the stuttering is gone :S
