Having a nightmare with Alienware Customer services.

have hit a dead end trying to talk to tech support Uk (slovakia)

They are replacing my system with a brandnew one, due to errors and faults covered in other threads.

and the fact the service tech caused damage to the system.

Alienware will not give me the configuration, have documented promiced new replacement but nothings happening.

have been told its gone to swap department and they will contact me when the order has been generated.

its been over a week and more than 5 since i have been able to use the system.

can anybody give me advice, and yes i have filled out un resolved issues forms and have kept doing so, no reply in weeks.

anybody have email addresses for senior managment i can have pm'd to me?

    doing my head in now

Phone them and keep pressing it. DON'T believe them when they say that they'll get back to you. That's all the advice I can offer really.

You could try and threaten to take them to court or the such, and state how important the system is for your work or something such as that.

They have agreed to do a brand new replacement!

they say they have done their job and i have to wait for the swap department if there is such a thing to get back in touch.

The teamleader which i email atleast 2 times a day says she has asked them and cant get any information.

feel like im getting the run around and every email i get seems to designed not to answer my questions or help.

i need to escalate this and need some higher up contacts, i do phone each day as well but this is turning out to be a full time job and im not getting anywhere.

I would rather be dealing with Dell anyday!

I know they are intergrated but my experiance with dell just shows me they are not following Dell procedures!.

can some one pm me some senior alienware contacts to try and get some help?

You need to be contacting DELL, not Alienware. Dell handles the M17x.

Dell is a huge company. From time to time bad stuff happens. If you look into every company, stuff like this happens. Anyways, just keep ringing Dell and you should be good

I tried contacting Dell to start off with and have a £65 phone bill to show for it.

at least the alienware is a free call

and when you speak to them they ask which model and then transfer you to the dellienware department anyway!

would like to get email of senior alienware usa,

had luck before talking to ceo department having emailed michael at dell

the people who have problem have to wait the most. If my frist system work right I would be with a M5550. I would be happy. But the issues hit over and over. So people are like ok I see issues I want this or that.

I never ask for free upgrades or anything free. At the most that was free was a Nbg wireless card. I told the guy that not the issue.'

I learn to look at issues and go No this one faulty.

I waited over a month for a replacement on mine and finally gave up. I called every week for an update and was promised it would definitely be there that week and was given every excuse from they had database problems to the holiday slowed it down, to they tried calling and my number was wrong. I finally gave in, repaired it myself and canceled the call, I couldn't be without a working machine any longer. Their support teams were always great for individual problems and overnighting parts, but their exchange which they told me go to a diff department was a nightmare.
