I have been having issues lately with my m15x's graphical performance. I suspect I may not be utilizing my graphics card by running either binary or integrated graphics. The problem is I don't know which of the two I'm running or which one I want to be running(in order to use my graphics card). I know how to switch from one to the other but any information on how to tell which I am running and which is which would be extremely appreciated.

Right click on desktop. If it says nvidia control panel as one of the options, then you're using the nvidia dedicated (awesome ;)) graphics. If it doesn't have that option, then you are on your integrated (there should be an intel gma icon in your taskbar too).
