    Hey guys,

got a problem with my M17x...When I run some games in SLI mode, I get a kind of blue flickering on the textures in the game. It doesn't happen when I am using a single GPU. Any suggestions on how to fix this? would appreciate any help here....

    Thanks

    Call Dell

    Either

    Bad SLI cable
    Bad SLAVE GPU
    loose SLI connector

my choice, but yes call dell its your only option

Just thinking out loud on what i have read, since mine hasn't arrived yet. Cant he disable SLI for now so he doesn't have to deal with the flickering till he can talk to the 15th dell rep. Because thats the guy who's actually going to do something on fixing his situation?

its a documented issues so they should send some one right out.

He can disable it to play but it seems he knows that since he has tested it off and on before coming here for help ;)

Thanks for the suggestion guys, will call Dell to sort this out. But till then, just to troubleshoot on my own....how can I test both the GPUs individually without SLI. I know that disabling SLI runs the games on one of the GPUs and I dont get any flickering at that time, so one of the GPU is okay. But how do I test the other GPU by itself without swapping the cards or opening up the laptop. Will disabling one of the cards in the device manager automatically use the other card??
