I believe this is because of a trojan virus I had recently quarantined and deleted, but either way when I boot up windows in normal mode it would get to windows then the Blue Screen error would pop up and shut off my computer...Im now in Safe Mode so im at least able to get some help from you guys, the problem is I dont have the system recovery dvd anymore and I dont know what to do ... is there a way any of you can send me an ISO of it or something, or anywhere I can download it.. Thank you for your help again I greatly appreciate it.

Your probably going to need the files and what not to do a system restore/repair. $20 bucks seems like a deal to me especially since your in another country. Good luck friend.

    Hi!
It would be helpful if you can get the BSOD code and description, if the BSOD flashes and computer restarts before you can see it, maybe you can disable the Automatic restart on system failure by tapping the F8 key during post, once you have the restart disabled the BSOD will frezze and you will see the BSOD code and description
KBA to disable Automatic Restart = 305 or http://4help.alienware.com/cgi-bin/...2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9cmVzdGFydA**&p_li=&p_topview=1
    Good Luck!

    Hi

One of the things we can try since you think it could be related to a virus would be a "Clean Boot" ( http://www.fixya.com/support/r643558-clean_boot_in_vista) this is to load just the necesary windows services and programs at the startup, if posible run a full antivirus scan

the other thing you can try since the issue is usually related to RAM mem, you can reseat the RAM and test one memory stick at the time in diff ports, if the problem is replicated with just one of the MEM sticks, is very likely that is memory related, in that case you can run the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool using one RAM stick at the time and double check if the problem is RAM defective

I would suggest you to run the Memory Diagnostic Tool extended or full check running just one memory stick at the time
Remove or Reseat MEM- Alienware KBA 5664 or http://4help.alienware.com/cgi-bin/...XJjaF90ZXh0PW0xNXgrbWVtb3J5&p_li=&p_topview=1

    Good Luck!
