If I wanted to go wireless with my peripherals, say for Mouse, Headphones and Microphone (and maybe keyboard). Can these BT modules handle it, or will they lag to much to make a game playable?

Heck, can you even use multiple devices on one module?

I haven't decided which one I'm buying yet, so I don't know which machine to specify

Bluetooth doesn't have enough channels to be able to handle stereo headsets with microphone (thats three channels, BT only has two) so you'll end up with ghetto "monaural" audio if you use a mic as well. It's either Stereo sound, or Monaural sound with Microphone.

Bluetooth mice are fairly effective although nothing beats the speed of a mouse on a USB Port. Just compare the wireless mode (bluetooth) and wired mode of the Razer Orochi to see the difference.

Will you notice it? Maybe not, but there is a difference.

And yes, you can use your BT headphones with your BT mouse no problem.
