The control center cover right above the keyboard and below the display isn't working properly. The Eject/Play/pause/next buttons work fine. But the wireless adapter/Command center/and Stealth mode touch sensors aren't working. Is this something in the registry perhaps. I did a fresh windows 7 64 install the day I got it. Any suggestions?

You could always try re-seating the ribbon cable. If you don't want to do that try a power drain by unplugging the battery, AC and hold power down for 20 seconds.

Power drain doesn't work. by re-seating you mean remove the cover and check to see if the cable isn't fulling plugged in?

go msconfig to check if launch_cc is there, if its not there, add it urself, it should b at "C:\Program Files\OSD".

For my case, sometimes the launch_cc never start properly, so i created a shortcut for OSD_MAIN and paste the shortcut into 'startup' folder. this should solve ur problem

EDIT: OSD=On Screen Display. if OSD is on, u should c a picture on the middle of the screen when u r changing volume, muting etc.
