    Any ideas if they are going to be updating hardware for the M15x this summer? or coming out with a new 15" gaming laptop? Would wait on buying if anything is likely to happen in the next few months.

    Explain gaming performance difference.


    How big of a performance difference between 1066mhz and 1333mhz ram 4 gigs of ram?

    How much better is this GTX 260m then an old 8800gt in a desktop? How big of a 3Dmark06 point difference at same resolution/settings?


    Looking forward to purchasing my first alienware :)

    No issues with using DisplayPort to Hdmi adaptor for TV's/Monitors etc? Sound transfered fine?

    No difference in performance between 1066mhz and 1333mhz

    DisplayPort to Hdmi adaptor does display sound

    The GTX 260m has similar performance to the desktop 9800 GT graphics card

    You might want to wait as a GPU upgrade to the 5870 may be close

    Don't let that put you off though, it looks amazing on my 37inch tv so as long as you have some speakers to plug into the laptop or don't mind the laptops own speakers sound won't be an issue :)
