    Hello

Well I am tempted in buying a new computer, so at the present time i am in china.

So far all the systems i have found will be deliver with windows 7 Chinese :( and of course no way for me to understand a thing

If i buy  do you think I will be running in huge trouble by installing my own English windows 7 on it ?

And for the rest (drivers ect ect )i was thinking in downloading from DELL USA

    Thanks !! :)

I really do not think you will face any problems reformatting the system, and installing your copy. The drivers you can either download or use the resource dvd that comes with the laptop.

To be honest I doubt it would be in English. You could always get a "special copy" in Shenzhen.

To be honest the prices I have seen in the Beijing outlets are ridiculous. Even ordering online is way over priced. If you have the opportunity try and get it in the US and get it shipped here.

Edit: Also I've noticed if you order online you don't get as many customization options as you do in other countries.

I agree with you, the only decent bargain is the m15x i can get 10 percent of with my supplier > with the i7-720 500 Hdrivr 2 yers warranty and blue-ray 15700.00元

wish is pretty good no way to get that price in usa with insurance plus shipped over to china.

Also considering in waiting for the atti 5870 card to come out, and at the present time just grab the M11x with 2 years warranty & 320 hard disc, to kill my nerves for 8800元 and ones the atti shows up on the m15x sale the m11x and buy M15X-R1

Or go for Clevo since i found a good source in china, but no light keyboard :( form my eyes at night that is high priority

Unless some one shows up from the USA with a nice M17X R2 :D

Being based in Beijing, I agree that the prices in China are crazy. I would just commend getting it from the US or from a reputable seller on ebay who ships intl.

One thing you have to consider is the consumer laws. China is not Europe and you better make sure that you got some kind of legal protection in case of hardware faults etc. You know better safe than sorry.

If possible, buy one from US. The Alienware in Dell China is more expensive than the one in US.

If you got a Chinese system, I think you can change the language setup to change to English.
