dude, that thing's small. plus, it offers about zero protection against physical abuse.
-
Small? It cant take your 15" without any problem. They have Medium (12"-15") and L (12" - 17"). About the physical abuse your right. But it is also waterproof. At the end of the review web page the guy shows a video with more details
-
looks tiny and offers no solid protection
-
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggglllly
-
sure its not a bullet proof vest
-
depends on your laptop
probably would be one if you shoved one of those toughbooks or ruggedbooks or whatever they're called in there
-
Looks like a Kevlar vest. I'd totally get it if it was bulletproof.
-
IMO, it looks cool for a female AW owner
-
I don't know if I'd actually wear that in public.
-
well, while you sacrifice the padded protection of a laptop bag, think about this...
how often do you get hit, bumped or scraped by an object or a person, on your back?
yea, subway, we bump and such... but what i'm trying to say is, the closer an object is to the body, the more protected it can be just because it is in our nature to protect ourselves...
i've had one of thems baby backpacks... they are great, because i have more control over where my kid is, versus even holding a child seat on my hand...
but in the end.. it does look tad ugly... could make you look fat also... neoprene close to body tends to do that.
might as well get a hard case back pack -
I could see this being useful for those with smaller notebooks that don't need to be tethered to a power outlet and ride motorcycles..
-
. its a bit too ugly for me. Also the bag doesnt seem like it will fit anything else but your m15x

Oodle-Bear Alienware Mug, Testpilot
I guess the only good think with that bag/sack/body armour is that you could wear a jacket over the top, say a biker jacket with kevlar sheets inside, wnd noone would know it was there and the notebook would have protection lol
It looks like a baby carrier with the baby bit taken off and slightly girly but, each to his/her own i guess. I'd have to have a trolly with wheels for my m17x but, it's not a mobile laptop so...
Eh, really important question here.....
Where do you fit your Area-51 Mug.....?

I think i'd be in hysterics if I ever saw anyone wearing that.
The only use i can think of is wearing it under a coat, if for some reason you dont want anyone to know you have a laptop on you.
EDIT: I thought of another, you can now take your laptop deep sea diving.
