Alienware has bounced back and forth between desktop processors and mobile ever since it was selling laptops. I have a desktop processor laptop and have always loved it in my alienware. Dont get me wrong the mobile processors are awesome. With other laptops taking the most powerfull processors known and puting them into laptops now are we going to see anything like this from alienware in the future?

Now that Dell owns Alienware, I just do not see that (desktop processors in notebook systems) happening again. The risk for issues is higher than Dell's bean counters will allow.

Not to mention the fact that they seem to have a problem keeping laptop hardware running correctly in a laptop, can you imagine what kind of issues they'd have if they stuck a desktop cpu in a laptop?
