Hey everyone, I've read that Alienware annouced a new refresh lineup and the newest M17x will have core i7 cpu. I was wondering how difficult it will be to upgrade my current m17x with a core 2 duo processor to core i7, do they use different motherboards and if I call Dell is there a possibility they can do this upgrade in the future (while keeping prices reasonable? I've heard a user on this forum said Dell charges $1200 for a 2nd gtx 260m, which is nuts)

    Thanks

It requires a new motherboard and new RAM.

just a new motherboard. IF it will work in the chassis and they didn't change a single screw hole or port
