I would check your "myhive" for the xp drivers if they have for the m17x like they do for the m15x

Most of the drivers for the m17x on MyHive are Vista based - everything from chipset, audio, GPU, and wireless LAN.

Mine is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday - first thing when I get it out of the box (after making sure it powers up) is to yank the 120GB single drive and pop in 2 x 320GB 7200RPM Hitachi drives, swap the 1GB of RAM with 4GB of G.Skill pc5300, reapply the thermal paste on the CPU and GPUs then pop in Windows XP Pro slipstreamed with SP3 and let windows see if it can find the necessary drivers.

Hopefully it all goes well - otherwise I'll be stuck with Vista Ultimate.
