    Does anyone know if you can add an extra hard drive into the new m17x?
    i ordered 500 gb 7200 hard drive, i may buy an additional 320 gb 7200 rpm hard drive cheaply. I was wondering if anyone knw its doable to install a 2nd hard drive.

    the hard drive has to be sata drives correct?

    The M17x uses SATA, so yes.

    As long as you have the 2nd drive caddy, there is a LONG thread about trying to get hold of those.

    the hard drives arent that expensive...just get it from newegg and have a warranty and a return policy.
