So I bought my M17 in March and was wondering if AW does a sort of credit system, return a model and get a credit toward another purchase, I ask this because I want the new M17x, but I really don't feel like setting up an ebay account and trying to sell it. SO anyone know?

I did post in the M17x thread, but my post kept getting lost in people talking about the box for christ sakes lol

I believe they do but I think you'll come out better trying to sell it first. You'll get more value more for your notebook. Your best bet is to contact AW to see what you will get and then try the NBR Marketplace to sell.

Currently Mr. Moo is having a hard time selling his for 1500.

Yea if i can get like 1200 out of it from AW that would be great, Id love to sell on NBR, but I don't trust selling anything via the internet, i don't feel safe about it :(. anyway I'll give AW a call and see what i get.

wow! 436?! piece of crap dell! Well I hope the 4870's are true, because I can upgrade my cpu and the gpu and get a system that is close to the m17x without all the fancy lights (and to be honest I like the M17 square look).

How epic. I just put in the specs of my brand new M17 (specs in my sig) and it gave me an unbelievable $300.

Just sell it on eBay. You'll get way more.

Alienware took their trade in thing down a while back.

And you would be 1000 times better off selling the system yourself on Ebay or something.

I would also mention (If still in warranty) that the Warranty is not transferable.... So they know up front and don't hear it from Alienware when something goes wrong.

Yea, i'm gonna hold off on selling it for a bit unless I find a good buyer, and wait for those 4870 rumors to die or come true :)

Set. Really not trying to hijack this thread, but since the dell exchange doesn't work for me and I can't find for sale m15x's with my specs..

How much could I get for an M15X with the 1440x900 resolution, 2gb ram (2x2gb with 1 DOA), 160gb 7200rpm hard drive, dvd burner, 8700M GT graphics card, 2.4ghz dual core processor, all disks/windows 7 installed, only problem is the up arrow coming off sometimes.
