I am following the Alienware section of the forum for a while for M11x. I noticed that people are having some QA issues like "Gap on the LCD screen" with their new M11x.

I would really appreciate if current owners of M11x could provide a list of items to check, once anyone gets their new M11x.

@Moderators - Please feel free to delete this thread if something similar exists.

    Thanks :)

Theres a poll on either the 1st or 2nd page - happy vs unhappy owners i think and i hazard a guess that all the unhappy people have had quality issues.
Id think ud notice if something was physically wrong like a massive gap in the screen or BSODing all the time otherwise
Some people complain about fan noise being loud and is abit dodgy going intergrated to discrete back to intg . The fan continues to whir and the pc needs rebooting. Also the battery can only be disabled in bios.
Some people dont like the screen. Ull have to wait till you receive yours to see if these little issues are bad enough you need to return it.

Well, I voted here but have not voted happy or unhappy, since Dell have not yet replaced my unit. If my replacement is perfect, I'll vote happy. right now, I'm in limbo for awhile until the new one ships.
