Hey guys, just wondering, is it just me or do you all disconnect from the internet when you close the screen? I want my m15x to continue downloading at night when I close the screen and leave the power on but it doesn't do so. Everything remains on except for the internet, it seems, and I've tweaked most of the Control Panel options, so I don't think I'm missing anything there. Is this just a quirk of the m15x or am I missing something blindingly obvious?

What do you have "close lid" set to do in the power options?

Method is right, check your "close lid" settings in power management. If its set to sleep, it won't download, and instead go to sleep. You just set it to "stay on"

I set it to not change anything. That was actually the first thing I did, but no dice.

Do you have a strong wireless signal? If it is weak then it may be getting cut off when you orient the antennas differently nearer the interference of the main computer components.
