Has anyone tried this product for triple (or even more) monitor display on either the M18x or new M18?
Multi Stream Transport (MST) Hub - Graphic solutions GeForce & Radeon

    Their youtube video:
    Club 3D Multi-Stream Transport Hub (MST Hub 3-1 DP++) - YouTube

Since I will get an egift card soon from Dell and am thinking of what to buy, another monitor came up as a possibility since there's not much else I really want and I don't like the look of the Vindicator backpack.

The problem is that monitors which support 1920x1200 AND DISPLAY 1.2 which can do displayport passthrough (input/output) like the Dell u2413 is much more expensive ($599 list) than say the u2412 ($349 list). Usually, the u2412 can be had for < $300 on sale...especially for people who don't care about 98% Adobe RGB...It'd be nice if Dell came out with the u2414 which is like the 2412, but has display port 1.2 (wishful thinking on my part).

There have been triple monitor hubs before like the Matrox triplehead2go, but that looks more like 1920x1080 and is also another piece of hardware...

The website and some info I found so far says they are looking or working for US distribution. Its on sale by some companies on Amazon UK currently for about $168.10:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/CLUB-3D-CSV-5300-SENSEVISION-MST/dp/B00CD2632M

Of course, at $300 monitor + $168 (mst hub), maybe I should just get the Dell u2413 on sale for around $450 w/coupon...(or wait for a better sale)...course, I would then have to buy another $450 monitor vs. $300 after that...

I used a more pro level DP1.2 hub not too long ago. Brilliant. Acts as a splitter, so output 1 is monitor 1, then it 'chains' off of that.

I did NOT use it with an Alienware product, though.

Don't get the Matrox TripleHead2Go. I've had nothing but issues with them.

The hub would be better as all outputs would be accelerated by your GPU.

Is there a good link about this? if it's daisy-chained, does only 1 get accelerated or you have to use Intel gpus?

I'm surprised none of these products are available for sale in the states...Doing more research, I'm wondering if the Club3D product is really just a BizLink (Taiwan company's) product...Here are more links from AMD and BizLink:
    http://www.amd.com/us/Documents/50279_AMD_FirePro_DisplayPort_1-2_WP.pdf
    AMD Eyefinity Technology

Welcome to Bizlink (I see the DP 1.2 MST Hub in the bottom right corner here)

If you look at the BizLink site, there's an exact black box that looks just like the Club3D product with their own sticker on it...You see a lot of this with camera's and I'm wondering if it's the same...

Also, trying to get more info on the BizLink box shows a NIL product info page...Maybe that's why no one is supplying them currently.
    Welcome to Bizlink

    On Nvidia's page, it shows:
    GeForce GTX 780M | Specifications | GeForce

    Display Support:
    Up to 3840x2160LCD – eDP 1.2 support

so I wonder if you would be even able to daisy chain 3 screens at all...

Guess it's waiting till this is more fleshed out.

    Edit:
    Delays article
    http://semiaccurate.com/2012/10/15/vesa-hopes-displayport-1-2-mst-hubs-to-be-available-by-2013/

It seems like vaporware at this point. Maybe safer to get the Dell 2413, but I'm not sure if 780m can even drive 3 monitors via displayport daisychain.

The only downside is you wont get any help from the eyefinity tools to help setup the image I think since it will see it as a single display.

Club3d wont make these, they will buy from a 3rd party and rebrand them.

Well it looks like a different piece of kit, bigger for one thing.

It'd be nice if it can do at least 3840 x 1200 (maybe it can, don't know). Then I can see if I can run 2 display ports with this and use the HDMI out for the last 1920 x 1200 screen...

I think the 780m can only do 3840x2160 max per 780m card.
