    hi,

I just decided to install the Command Center's A04 v2.0.14 from the M17x-R2 Windows 7 drivers section adn it worked just fine!! :)

it asked me to upgrade the board's firmware, I hit OK and it didn't corrupt the firmware of my board.

now, it is not the fancy interface we had for a brief moment with the A05 for the R1 but is version 2.0.14 instead of R1's 2.0.10.

I dont personally recommend you to upgrade to this firmware, I am just reporting that it works fine.

the only reason I did upgrade is because all this time I was using a faulty A05 cause I was too lazy to install the A03's back. today I felt like doing it but instead wanted to try this one from the M17x-R2 drivers.

all the lisght work fine, no flickering, no obscured sections, all GOOD so far... at least with my M17x-R1.

    hope this helps.

    thanks,

command center keeps reverting my color theme to blue. don't really know why.

i disabled it from startup to solve the problem.

I certainly hope that we will see the fancier one back soon. My M11X has more functions available and the auto update function seems cool (though not doing anything yet).

Would be nice if Dell / Alienware said something about the status but I expect that is too much to hope for.
