After installing some drivers on my alienware m15x, I realized that u could no longer use the command centre button located on top of the keyboard.

I installed both the command centre and touchpad drivers again to see if this would resolve the issue but it did not.
Does anyone kno how to fix this so that it will work again?

I also realize that the command centre can be accessed via the start menu...but would still like to fix this problem

    Thanks assassin204

Yeah same here. However I have also disabled the 9400 so the stealth button would not do me any good anyway.

yep it worked, but for some reason i had to skip a step because CC was open, and there were duplicate files...but doesnt matter now it works!

    Thanks BatBoy

there is one issue left tho, and i thought i might post it here as i dont want to open another thread... for some reason my cursor is a bit laggy, im not sure how i can fix this, i have improved it a little by putting the touchpad sensor down so it moves quicker but it is still delayed, does anyone kno how to fix this?

No, I didn't say it would 'hurt you'. I was replying that Stealth Mode does have a power saving affect on the CPU when implemented. You mentioned it would not do you any good - if you happened to go on battery power, then it would. The power saving returns would not be as great as they are with the 9400M G enabled however it would still provide additional power savings when activated.

If you never go on battery power then its pointless. you didn't specify AC or DC ;)
