Its not very often someone has something good to say about tech support because it can be quite stressful. Well i got one of the best tech guys ever at alienware last night and i figured idd let the guys who work for alienware know about it.
Name was gabriel segura. Spoke english well. Knowledgeable and fast and relaxed. Could actually talk to the guy and not have him sound like the dell tech support guidebook for tech people. Problem wasnt solved and was determined to be a hardware issue with my gpus but im still happy it was easy to get support for my product. Give this man a promotion overseeing alienware tech support or at least a pat on the back.

Practically every single tech support guy i have spoken has been absolutely brilliant and have bent over backwards to help with my current problems. They are unrecognisable from the guys i use to deal with a few years ago, their managers and company policys leaves alot to be desired still

I had the pleasure of working with the tech support supervisor Jose Hernandez. This guy went the extra mile and then some until I was completely satisfied.Started with an M17xR4 that was a complete lemon and nothing but headaches from the day I got it.Jose got me a FREE upgrade to an M18x R2,and when I was having problems with the 7970M XFire he sent a tech to install the 680M SLI including all the heatsinks for only $350 out my pocket.So I can never complain about Alienware tech support, they are great!

The tech support is indeed awesome. Very helpful and polite. That is the only reason I purchased an alienware.

Thanks for posting this... I had been considering a decked-out M18 purchase, but to be honest, the recent string of issues that had appeared here had kinda chilled my interest in Alienware/Dell. (I know, intellectually, that the complaints seen here only represent a small percentage of the total sales, and that many are thrilled or at least happy with their systems, but seeing a few good stories goes a long way towards restoring my confort level!)
