Everytime my computer crashes and it happens about once everyday, it always shows that my graphic/video card stopped working. When I am using the laptop, sometimes the screen and freeze for a sec and it'll state that the graphic failed to respond but it recovered, but a lot of time during hibernating my laptop would just crash due to graphic problems and I tried to download the latest video driver from ATI website but it says that the driver is not certified....

I have a M17 Alienware, dual ATI Radeon Mobility 3870 HD. Is anybody else having this issue? Your help will be appreciated.

That sounds like the age old Vista problem. If you are running vista, is it all SP'd up? Also 100% update the drivers as per suggestion above

Use the ATI Catalyst 9.9 Desktop Drivers from http://game.amd.com

Run the mobility Modder on them:

    http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php

Follow the instructions on the page exactly.

Iv used omega drivers for my ati card , and they have always worked through the 10 or so times Iv upgraded it since ATI first began putting cards into laptops. The address is omega ati drivers. They are user friendly unlike the mod tool for the desktop drivers, witch never worked for me, or the drivers on ATI's site. Just reading i havent crossfire so i wanted to make sure omega drivers support it and from what iv come up with it looks like they do but you might wana check this site crossfire reference as it reference's crossfire support with omega drivers
