I'd like to start a thread for xml configurations of the AlienFX plugin that Ingrater provides.

    My zones are

    Speakers + Logo: 1 - 4 and 29 - 32
    Touchpad: 5 - 8
    Keyboard Left: 9 - 12
    Keyboard Mid Left: 13 - 16
    Keyboard Mid Right: 17 - 20
    Keyboard Right: 21 - 24
    Touch Panel: 25 - 28

It works very well with dubstep, it actually does go to the beat well. I've been really only using it on techno, but it works well with techno. you can try it with other things, but I like this setup so far.

Feel free to post your setup!

Wii it work on the latest systems like the m14x? Because this is freaking cool. I had the official AlienFX plugin on the aurora and it's ugly to the point you thought your lightning are screwed up.

It should work yes! If not you have to wait for compatibility.

Looks pretty close to what lordzath had in his video. Shame a lot of the time the keyboard is dark.

Well only it certain types of genre'd music it is dark, in others it flows quite nice and looks like it's actually going to a beat instead of just flashing :D

Well mine is just an altered one. You try your own to your own extent. Read the title to the thread, we are not comparing configs, sharing.

I tried your config, nice one, but i have an M11X r1, so i dont know how to place the numbers for the keyboard. i mean there are much more zones. i think i ve split the speakers and aleinware logo, alienware logo will stay, but the speakers will become other numbers.

thank you very much! it works really good, i had the whole time problems to find the best config, way trying and trying, but found nothing good.

Pure experiment my friend! Just keep experimenting with the sliders. Examine how the sliders work according to each section of your computer. Notice how each slider changes the speed or how frequent the lights appear. Just experiment!
