    Connecting HDMI to M15x

    I was wondering if I connected an HDMI cable from M15x to TV if I will also get sound? Someone a long time ago told me HDMI is for both sound and video but when I connect it to the tv i get no sound... anyone know what might be wrong?

    Have you switched the audio output from onboard to the HDMI via 'Playback Devices'?

    right click on the volume icon in the tay, click on 'playback devices' and then set the default device to HDMI or digital output or whatever its called (cant remeber :)
