  i currently have a 56" lcd projetion tv. i just connected my 15x to it via hdmi. it was pretty annoying to set it up and i hope i only have to do it once. problem is things look a little screwy on the tv. i mean the aspect ration is fine. (i can see the taskbar, ect). but for some reason color looks akward. i tried running css source in 1080p and it looked different. what settings are you guys using both on your tv and in windows? thanks.

ps. what res are you guys at? i turned mine down to 720p (i just say it like this cause its easier, dont worry) and i still find things a little hard to see. not size wise but something is wrong with the way text looks and stuff.

I'd think that there might be an issue somewhere between the laptop and the TV, whether interface or the TV just not liking the laptop. I can definitely attest that when I hooked up my m15x to my Sony 46" via HDMI, there were no problems whatsoever. Everything looked great.

Everything works perfect with my 42" Samsung. I posted some pics of them together a few weeks back.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys just open your laptop to turn it on, then close it and use the external? I've been trying to find some way to power on the notebook without having to open it when I have it hooked up to my 24" LCD. I got so used to having a docking station with my last XPS.
