I have the enable CrossfireX option on my M17 never had it before, now after getting the replacement master video card it seems to be here even on the 8.12 drivers.

if you have a Master - Master you can directly disable crossfire

there is a master and slave in a normal m17 which doesn't give the option

righr stupid flex for that. well i guess it will lessen their call volumes of why my card isn't performing well. and master slave is suppose to force the two to act as one. and give you better performance but i beg to differ.

Yeah I did not know that I had two masters. If I put my slave in the master slot it will work no black screen. I can run master in the slave slot and slave in the master slot and still run the M17 just fine. I think I have two masters I did not flash the cards or anything to risky.

Does anyone know why they even bother to go to the trouble to flash a different bios to the GPU's?

Seems like it's more trouble to do this so is there a performance hit running master-master?
