it's probably the same as Crysis, but with extra stuff. It's an expansion pack if I'm not mistaken.

I've finished it in Delta and played about half and half DX9/10. My DX10 settings are medium/high in 1920x1200 with around average 20FPS. DX9 settings are all high on 1920x1200 with around average 30FPS. I played in 1440x900 for a few levels (train level for example) because it's just so hardcore and drops FPS hard on those levels.

To be honest, you know how some websites were saying that Warhead was going to run better than Crysis with ultra smooth frame rates.. well It's not happening. For me anyway. I find performance wise, this game runs worse than Crysis. It sutters a lot, and I'm playing it in DX9. I am using the same settings I had while playing Crysis. So I've decided to leave it for a while. Besides from that performance glitch, gameplay seems ok. The only reason why I bought it was because of this rumor about the improved crytek engine. Maybe they have improved it? But possibly for people who own Sli systems, and possibly not for mobility chips? Who knows..

They never actually claimed it would benefit ALL systems. IIRC, they just said it would be easier to achieve high settings. What drivers are you using?

lulz, not the case. I have a so called "crappy" Alienware and am noticing better results. As always, people should give a reason when saying x is y, which you are obliviously disregarding.

Played Warhead on my M17X with all settings on high but no AA. Played OK with no stuttering or freezing. Played better than original but game itself not as good IMO.

I personally thought it was better, just shorter. Crysis Wars is pretty fast paced fun too.

I think WARHAD is pretty awesome and have no problems running the game on all high untill hell freezes over ;-). My problem is that after everything turns to ice my framratedrops so much that I need to go down to medium in order to play smoothly. Really annoying cause this game is beautiful on all high.

Yep he's just some guy coming in and bashing AW for no reason what so ever besides wanting to jump on the "Oh I'm so tech savvy and cool so I jump on the I H8 AW Wagonz!"

I think he owns the gateway gaming laptop. He was going to order the Leveno 61 but canceled, then he was going to buy a Sager NP9XXX (forget the name), then he was going to buy a m1730 off of a guy, and then he ended up with the gateway.

Turning those down to mainstream and keeping everything else high makes it playable but not quite as fast as I had hoped, but I decided to stick with it.

Finished to game shortly after. It was extremly good and definitely worth the money though it was way too short. I hope they create a few more expansions off of this engine.
