    I am having a frustrating issue. I have installed both Crysis and Crysis Warhead and lagging is terrible even at very low resolution and moderate game settings. My laptop is plugged in utilizing Boost performance for my sli and stealth mode is off. I have successfully oced to 2.4 but have not figured out how to install new drivers from nvidia. Does anyone have any idea why lagging is so bad, the initial movie before play begins even lags. Any help would be great.

    make sure SLI is enabled in the nvidia control panel and that you have a crysis profile in your nvidia control panel -> program setttings. I play crysis with highest setttings and get in the 40's and 50's FPS. It's the main reason I got the low res panel. I couldn't run crysis maxed if I got the 1920x1200 panel.

    So you limited your whole machine for 1 game?

    Any other game will run perfect at even 2xxx res .... I don't understand your logic

    Both of you make sure that:

    1. Stealth mode is COMPLETELY off.
    2. You have SLi enabled in the nVidia control panel.

    Try going into the BIOS and disabling HybridSLI to make sure the 9400m isn't causing any issues.

    First off, don't post 5 consecutive posts to post images. Put them all in one post.

    Secondly, did you do like I told you? Go into the BIOS and disable HybridSLI.

    I tried disabling hybrid in bios and issue persists also it takes like five minutes from the point at which I select crysis from my game list until the time when the inital EA credits begins, is that normal for a game or not. After installing crysis my computer is low slower and even if crysis finally loads the initail game scenes are even lagging and choppy. Stealth mode is not on and ski is enabled, is there some other issue that it could possibly be?

    bluetraxx - couple things:

    Bluetraxx, the fact 2 monitors display is irrelevant - it happens on every system.

    As far as I can see sli mustn't be enabled properly.

    I dont know how it works on W7 or Vista, but for driver updates on XP you go to:
    -My Computer
    ->Right click in the white space anywhere
    --> Select 'Properties'
    ---> Select 'Hardware' Tab
    ----> Select "Device Manager"
    -----> Select 'Display Adapters'

    Now, right click your GPU/s and select properties and make sure both are set to 'Enabled' - If only one shows dont worry, but ensure its enabled.

    Then select the 'Driver' tab and select 'Update Drivers'.

    DONT do this until AFTER we've fixed your crysis problem - this wont be the reason why your getting poor results or crysis lags. This is just an FYI on your 'how do I update drivers' question =]

    On the problem. Where did you install crysis? Main HDD? External HDD? Did you crack it?

    crysis
    crysis warhead
    stalker clear sky
    stalker call of pripyat (not released yet but uses the same engine as clearsky but with direct x11 features)
    starwars the force unleashed
    ghost busters
    risen
    the witcher enhanced
    grandtheft auto 4
    cryostasis
    teamfortress (during multiplayer with several players in an area the M17X will dip FPS at high res)

    all the games above will run dodgy at 1920x1200 on the M17x unless you turn the settings down. And this doesn't unclude future games coming out like.
    Mafia II
    crysis II
    and shattered horizon (I was on the beta test and good luck getting to run this game maxed out at 1920x1200 on the MX even with dual 280's like myself)

    blu-ray would be the only reason for a high res panel and If I wanted to watch blu-ray I will watch it on my 55inch Led LCD at home :)
