I have the blu ray reader combo drive model HL-DT-ST DVDRWBD CA10N. I seem to be having trouble writing DVDs and CDs. I am running Win 7 and have the latest firmware. The drive works normally reading all types of discs, just can't write. Anyone have this issue with this model on the m17x?

Thanks for the replies. I reloaded with a new Win 7 install a while back and the same issue occured as with the original load. I will try to reflash the firmware. If that doesn't work then I will wait to see what new drives get listed when they come back in stock and request a new drive. I rarely use the drive and would want to replace it myself. Everything else is perfect on the laptop, so I also don't want to take chances on a whole new laptop.
