LOL i really dont think that its no one cares....the fact alone that people have offered suggestions seems to point to somebody caring....for you to assume that someone should/would commit mail fraud by requesting a new keyboard from alienware since you do not have a warranty is hugely laughable...then for you to get upset that no one is "helping" you makes it even funnier.....your definition of help is apparently....buy something for me and send it to god knows were and make the assumption that ill send you the money.....this thread made my work day lol :D

What else am I supposed to do? I followed everyone else's help but I still don't have a working keyboard.

Anyways a guy finally popped up on ebay with an illuminated keyboard so I'm buying it.

Do an ebay search for "alienware M15x keyboard" - there's one on there, from alienware, right now. (two actually...)

    One's like $20, the other $15.

EDIT: oh, sorry, didn't see the last sentence of your post - looks like you're a step ahead of me... :)

Yeah the one isn't illuminated, and the other one I bought the second it went up on ebay since it's illuminated :). I only had to wait like a week or two before someone finally put one up :D

    Hopefully! Keyboard should work

Keyboard is here! In it's brand new fresh and illuminated glory! I now have a working keyboard, and it's illuminated

Thanks for your help guys, even though there wasn't really anything I could do until an ebay seller came on with a keyboard :)

LOL why? So you don't have to hear me complaining all the time? :D

@Otaku - you should. Buy one from "Alienware" on ebay. Very cheap and nice to have a spare. now I can use my old keyboard's keys when these break :)
