    I have this two pixels which is noticeable for me. Other one is pinkish redish which is near the top right corner and the dead pixel which is black and i always notice it while browsing the net is near the middle right. I called alienware and they said they cant do anything because their policy was bright pixels... What can I do now? Just deal with it and pretend its not there? or Call again?

    There is software available which can "help" to potentially fix your stuck pixels.
    Just do a google search.

    Also, you could make a batch file in notepad and put this in it:

    :A
    @color 53
    @color 35
    @color 23
    @color 32
    @goto A

    This will basically do the same thing as some of the pixel fixing programs out there (dont do it for too long though as you can actually cause problems instead of fix them)

    You can also try "massaging" the pixels and see if that helps.

    But overall.... check the links pepemosca provided then let dell know that you have 2 BAD PIXELS which is covered under warranty.
    You could also send the rep to those links to help prove your point.

    Good luck

    D.

    Got my screen replaced. BUT! There is not a stuck or dead pixel but like a defect on the glass in front off the lcd. Its some kind of air bubble idk speck of white particle dirt im not really sure but I am certain that it is on the glass. And it creates this bigger dead pixel effect. And the worst part its on the middle! I mean I always see it even if i dont look at it. I know that "whoa big deal its just a dot" but now its actually worst it bigger and MORE noticeable. So I guess im calling dell again.

    Edit: wow actually there is 2 dirt particles 1 in the middle and another near it this dirt particles are pretty big and noticeable now SOO this is way worst...

    Ouch, that's a bummer. Call them again and demand a replacement.

    I dont think i have ever had a dead stuvck pixel on a laptop. I have on an old 32" lcd tv though.

    My m18x is in production now, and im praying for a good build engineer. And of course that i dont get and screen defects.

    It looks like dell are being pretty good doing replacements though.

    Don't you have a certain period in which you can return it for a refund for any reason?

    If so, I'm quite sure they'd rather replace the screen than have to refund someone!

    I had a single bright pixel in my screen and they sent someone out to fix it right away. Granted, the repairman also broke the lid in the process but i got him to get me a red lid for my black case in the process ^_^
