So I have like a centimeter line of dead pixels on my m15x's screen. I am still under warranty but, because I haven't been here since the news of roswell being shut down I have some questions.

    1. Any chance I dont have to send her in and I can just get a replacement screen mailed to me? I know chances are slim and even slimmer without roswell. =/

    2. How have things been as far as CS after said unfortunate incident?

PS: Ok I know this seems crazy but I SWEAR the line keeps moving. Like every time I shut off my lappy it moves slightly by like an inch. This has happened like 3 times now.

I've got two random pixels on my M17 screen, either one or the other turns white when I'm loading a game (with the screen blank) and then they're fine when the game loads. o.0

what about the 12 hour flash program? That keeps flashing and flashing colours on your screen until it eventually unjams.

update: After turning off my lappy to do the LCD cable thing and then turning it back on the line has moved again! This is so weird. Now instead of moving it rotated by like 20 Degrees clockwise! I swear I would think im on pot If I hadn't JUST studied the line intensely before shutting down.

I dont understand. Has anyone ever heard of dead pixels moving?

Another update: these dead pixels are confusing the heck out of me. It seems every time I turn off my laptop the dead pixels will move or rotate just a little. Can anyone tell me anything about why dead pixels would move??? especially a LINE of them?

Thats almost certainly a bad screen, i had the same issue a few years back on my XPS Gen2 and it required a screen replacement.
