    Delete Alien software

    My daughters computer will not start. she states she did not download a Alien program but this what I get when I try to reboot the system.

    Try to install CD disc. When I get boot cycle and I run into this statement and cannot get past it:

    Your CD/DVD drive during this boot cycle is f:

    A RAMDISK drive is available for this boot cycle as C:

    It contains several Hard Drive setup tools. Please use these tools only under the direction of Alienware Support Staff:

    F:\>



    What am suppose to enter after the "F" entry?

    At this point unless you need to save any data from HDD i would reinstall windows with the disc included with the system.

    If you need to save data before the install you can purchase a USB to IDE/Serial SATA from quite a few websites. All you will have to do is remove the hard drive and plug it into another computer with the adapter. When you do this it will act as an external hard drive and you can transfer saved files.
